Listen up my Illinois people if you are in this area please stop in and get yourself some of the most creamy cheesecake you can ever get in the Illinois area hands down; my guy delivered some of the best cheesecake in the world not just in the Illinois area but this guy puts it down for real; we came from Texas and stopped by this guy's shop and he did not disappoint; so show your love to this brother who has a real passion to please the people with his gift . Thank you so much for going over and beyond to make sure we did not go back home empty handed after selling out the cheesecake we originally stopped by for we appreciate you !!!!!!

This place is AMAZING!!! James and his employee are both so sweet and the cheesecake is even sweeter. So far we have tried the cookies and cream, original and most recently the turtle!! Each type is decadent with their own flavor notes, and all of them have perfect buttery crust. The original has a distinct flavor that I’ve never tasted in any original cheesecake before, it’s incredibly rich and creamy and the service is amazing, and pricing definitely matches the quality. I tried Cheesecake by James for the first time today, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The cheesecake was rich and full of flavor, easily one of the best I’ve had. James was incredibly kind, welcoming, and personable, which made the experience even better. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend giving Cheesecake by James a try. You won’t be disappointed!

As a lactose intolerant person, I rarely ever eat cheesecake because of the ramifications. This was worth it all. I will be stopping there again, even though it’s three hours away. Delicious cheesecakes and the kindest service. Easy 10/10

I had a taste for cheesecake so i remember this spot and decided to drop in .Walking in the smell and greeting was amazing i ordered the cheesecake bites and received a slice of key lime pie on the house ! He’s my review the cheesecake itself was very fresh soft but not falling apart the crust was very moist but a bit too much.The Bites overall a 8 my favorite so far is the strawberry cheesecake. The key lime was good fresh as well a bit on the sour side it can use a little sweet to even the flavor out . Great place overall i will visit again for Christmas. 😊
